There comes a time when you may need to dispose of a card securely. Whether it's because you've received a new card or because the current one has been deactivated, it's important to ensure that the information on the card isn't compromised.

Here are some secure ways to get rid of your MAZA debit card:

  1. Cutting it: A safe practice is to cut it into many pieces with scissors. Don't forget to cut both the magnetic strip and the chip to prevent any attempts at fraud.

  2. Shredding: If you have access to a paper shredder, you can use it to quickly and effectively destroy your debit card. Make sure to pass the card through the shredder several times to ensure it's completely destroyed.

By following these methods to dispose of your card, you can protect your financial information and reduce the risk of fraud or identity theft.

Note: Keep in mind that with the migration, your cards will be deactivated.
